Parker Tettleton – 3 poems

I Want To Be Your Grocery Store

You’re an accent
in the sitcom
of my vessels.

Attic sex
is vaudeville;

windows dirty-

One shake
isn’t this
aisle’s amendment—

I’ve tripped
your meridian.

There’s no womb
            out of you
between my legs

below inches
of incandescent screen

blipping a shower
sans parents,

Sorry’s Insurrection

I’m sticking
to turning
sling days off

beer with
a cap
-king at keeps

the nothing
            that’s older
than me
